Pistons guard Hamidou Diallo will miss the rest of the 2021-22 season due to a left index finger avulsion fracture, the team announced on Friday.

Diallo has been sidelined since he suffered the injury in a loss to the Chicago Bulls on March 9.

The fifth-year guard averaged 11 points, 4.8 rebounds and a career-high 1.2 steals in his second season with the Pistons.

Detroit is 20-53 and eliminated from playoff contention.
