At En Fuego Hoops we recognize the game of basketball as a link that can unite people from different backgrounds and cultures. It is a joyous game that builds camaraderie on the court and community off of it. Our vision for EFH is to be a leading innovator in the development of youth basketball programs in under-served regions of the world. Our mission is to use guided individual and team instruction to assist young players in developing their potential on and off the court.

EFH Approach:

En Fuego Hoops camps, clinics and team sessions help aspiring basketball players of varying abilities maximize their potential on the court while highlighting the importance of achievement off of it. EFH provides players ages 5 and above high energy and fun instruction on the fundamentals of basketball.

We take pride in ensuring that players enjoy the game of basketball while striving to reach their highest potential as players and as people. Our youth programming is designed for players of all ages and skill levels, led by high energy, knowledgeable and fun coaches!

EFH Academy

The EFH Academy programs are for school aged players of all skills and abilities. The EFH Academy is designed to offer fun and engaging sessions for kids who want to learn more about the game and improve their skills and fundamentals. The academy programs are offered after school, as weekend clinics or summer camps and emphasize the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, cooperation and the value of a healthy and active lifestyle.

EFH Elite

The En Fuego Hoops Elite program is a varsity level program for players who are competing or aspire to compete in high school and beyond. Individual and team sessions are designed to prepare players to compete at the high school level and beyond.

EFH The Beginning:

En Fuego Hoops was born a long time ago on a loose gravel and dirt court in a driveway with a rickety hoop in Jericho, VT. Two older brothers, both hard and heroic, in different ways, drove me to work on my game, to get better, to improve. The driveway sessions taught me that competition is fierce and it can mold character and make a person.

In that driveway, I learned that strength, skill and the will to compete are forged by effort, grit and determination. The driveway sessions taught me the importance of effort and it’s impact on the evolution of skill; a lesson that would inform my personal and professional life from then on.

EFH is an extension of my passion for the game, and represents my desire to always get better on and off the court.

Play like it’s your last day on Earth,

Justin
