Tipoff of Friday’s Game 3 between the Hawks and the Heat was delayed by nearly an hour after a suspicious package was found outside Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
Per the Hawks, multiple gates were closed as the police department investigated and removed the package.

The game finally tipped off at 7:55 p.m. ET, nearly an hour after its original start at 7.
As a result, the second half of ESPN’s doubleheader, Game 3 of Suns-Pelicans, has been pushed to 10 p.m. ET.
