Celtics’ Robert Williams (knee soreness) sidelined for Game 4 vs. Bucks

Boston Celtics center-forward Robert Williams will miss Monday’s Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks (7:30 ET, TNT) due to left knee soreness, the team announced less than two hours before tip-off.

Williams missed the Celtics’ final seven games of the regular season and the first two games of the postseason after he underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee on Mar. 30.

The 24-year-old has averaged 8.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.7 blocks and 1.0 steals in 23.7 minutes over the first three games against Milwaukee.

The Celtics enter Game 4 down 2-1 to the Bucks in the Eastern Conference semifinals series.
