Celtics guard Marcus Smart will miss Tuesday’s clash with the Bucks.

Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart will miss Game 2 against the Milwaukee Bucks with a right thigh contusion, the team announced.

The Kia Defensive Player of the Year was ruled out two hours before Tuesday’s home matchup (7 ET, TNT).

Smart has been the defensive anchor for the Celtics throughout the 2021-22 season, while also providing steady offense.

He’s averaging 15.2 points, 6.8 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals in the playoffs.

Boston is down 1-0 in the Eastern Conference semifinals series against Milwaukee.
