The Pioneros of Cancun, Fuerza Regia, the Halcones Rojos and the Toros are the last squads standing in the LNBP this season. One team will emerge as the overall champion but at least two of those four teams will have a shot to battle for the best pro squad in the Americas. The Pioneros and Fuerza Regia are already slated to play in the FIBA League of the Americas tournament which kicks off in Cancun this February 24-26. A third team from Mexico has yet to be named. The tourney is a round robin style with 16 teams in four pools from all over the Americas. The last squad standing will be crowned as the top pro team in the Americas.
